Don­ald F. ‘Don’ Yost Jr. of Mor­gan­town

Don­ald F. “Don” Yost, Jr., 57 years, passed away on Satur­day, Septem­ber 10, 2016, at his home sur­rounded by his loving fam­ily.

He was born on Septem­ber 14, 1958 in West Ch­ester. Don was the son of the late Don­ald F. Sr. and Bertha E. (Clifton) Yost. He was the hus­band of Wendy S. (Davis) Yost with whom he shared 34 years of mar­riage.

Don was a self-em­ployed fifth gen­er­a­tion paint­ing con­trac­tor. He was a mem­ber of the Robe­son Evan­gel­i­cal Lutheran Church. Don en­joyed camp­ing, fish­ing and Amer­i­can his­tory. Wendy and Don both par­tic­i­pated in Revo­lu­tion­ary War Reen­act­ing. He served as the com­man­der of the 1st Penn­syl­va­nia Reg­i­ment of the Con­ti­nen­tal Line.

Sur­viv­ing in ad­di­tion to his wife is a son, Sa­muel B. Yost of Lancaster and a sis­ter, Diane Haas of Down­ing­town.

A funeral ser­vice will be held on Wed­nes­day, Septem­ber 14, 2016 at 11:00 AM at Robe­son Evan­gel­i­cal Lutheran Church, 3520 Plow Road, Plowville, Mohn­ton, Pa. 19540 with Rev. Michael Ware of­fi­ci­at­ing. In­ter­ment will fol­low at the ad­join­ing ceme­tery. A call­ing hour will be held two hours prior to the ser­vice at the church.

In lieu of flow­ers, me­mo­rial con­tri­bu­tions may be made in the mem­ory of Don to the Robe­son Evan­gel­i­cal Lutheran Church at above ad­dress.
