SPRING-FORD INVATATIONALL >> Down­ing­town East’s Lid­die McCook recorded 3 birdies and an ea­gle on her way to a 2-over par 73 and low hon­ors. She birdied the first hole by hol­ing out a bunker shot and fol­lowed it up with a tap-in ea­gle on the par-5 sec­ond. The Cougars fin­ished fourth with a team score of 367. Anish Sonti had a 91 for East, Emily Johns an 100 and Ge­or­gia Miller an 103.

In the night­cap, Griff De­laney starred in goal with 12 saves. Salle had three goals, while Sali­nas, Adam Yablon­ski and Jack Ley­den also scored. CH­ESTER 1 >> The Golden Rams fell to host Cal­i­for­nia (Pa.), 25-10, 25-23, 2325, 25-18. Kar­leigh Lutz and Rachel Robb each con­trib­uted a team-high nine kills. West Ch­ester (10-3, 0-2 PSAC) dropped their sec­ond con­fer­ence matchup of the sea­son. Sopho­more Jil­lian Gram­mer ac­counted for 27 as­sists, while also pro­vid­ing 11 digs for the Golden Rams.

IM­MAC­U­LATA 1, NEUMANN 0

>> On a beau­ti­ful fall Satur­day af­ter­noon and in game three of a triple header at Draper Walsh Sta­dium, the Im­mac­u­lata men’s soc­cer team (4-3-1, 1-0 CSAC) squared off with their crosstown ri­val Neumann Knights (2-6, 0-1 CSAC) and sopho­more Mark Stau­den­meyer pro­vided the hero­ics as he scored the game-win­ning goal with 28 sec­onds to go. The win in the team’s Colo­nial States Ath­letic Con­fer­ence (CSAC) opener was the first for the Mighty Macs over Neumann since 2008.

Field Hockey

IM­MAC­U­LATA 3, WIL­SON 0 >> Im­mac­u­lata field hockey (4-4) tops Wil­son. The Macs were able to break­through in the 18th minute off when they had a penalty cor­ner as ju­nior Me­gan Done­gan got a pass on the near post from fel­low ju­nior Cayla Wil­liams and she did not miss it de­posit­ing it in the back of the net. In the sec­ond half, Hi­lary Burkholder de­posited a pass from Done­gan into the back of the net to give the Macs a 2-0 lead. The Macs would score again in the 52nd minute when fresh­man Colleen Bradley got a pass from se­nior Mered­ith Ka­tona to score the first goal of her ca­reer. BISHOP SHANAHAN , WEST

>> Fresh­man Diana Dunn placed fifth, lead­ing the Golden Rams to a six­th­place fin­ish out of eigh­teen teams. The top fin­isher for the Golden Rams man­aged a fi­nal time of 22 min­utes and 46 sec­onds. Next to cross the fin­ish line was sopho­more Amanda Kodis, earn­ing a time of 23:39 and slated at 27th. Ju­lia Del­grosso was right be­hind her, fin­ish­ing 38th with a time of 23:59. Se­nior Alie Smith was 64th with a time of 24:46, while fresh­man Tara McLaughlin came in three sec­onds later to place 65th.

LOCAK HAVE IN­VI­TA­TIONAL

>> An­drew Dom­browiecki was the top fin­isher for the Golden Rams, lead­ing West Ch­ester to an eighth­place show­ing. Dom­browiecki crossed the fin­ish line in 26 min­utes, 34 sec­onds to fin­ish 23rd over­all. Team­mate Nick An­gelina was 27th in 26:39.10 while Greg Grun­wald was 66th in 27:53.90. Eric Savarese was 73rd in 28:03.70, and Eric Chap­man was 74th in 28:09.70.
