Unionville re­mained per­fect on the year and clinched the Ch­esMont League Amer­i­can Di­vi­sion golf ti­tle with a 192-204 victory over West Chester Rustin Tues­day at Ken­nett Coun­try Club.

Jack Niemki­wecz led the way with a 38 af­ter two birdies and three bo­geys.

Nick Giane­los and Rourke Dil­lon carded 37s.

Luke Shevlin had eight pars be­fore mak­ing a birdie on the fin­ish­ing ninth hole to lead Rustin with a 34.

West Chester (5-2-2, 4-1-1 PSAC) moved one point ahead of idle Mer­cy­hurst into first place in the PSAC stand­ings with the tie and re­mained two points ahead of third-place Millersville (52-2, 3-1-2).

No. 9 West Chester re­mains un­de­feated on the sea­son (9-0-0, 9-0-0 PSAC), while also ac­com­plish­ing nine con­sec­u­tive vic­to­ries to be­gin the sea­son for the first time since 2012.

IM­MAC­U­LATA 9, CLARKS SUM­MIT 2 >> The Im­mac­u­lata women’s soc­cer team (2-1) im­proved their CSAC) record to 2-1 with an of­fen­sive out­burst in a 9-2 victory over Clarks Sum­mit (1-7, 0-3 CSAC). The nine goals is the most the Mighty Macs have scored since Oc­to­ber 8th, 2011 in a 9-0 win over Key­stone. IU had eight dif­fer­ent goal scor­ers on the day, as fresh­man Court­ney Stinger was the only Mac with two goals, the first two of her ca­reer. Se­nior Rachel Lamb set a new Im­mac­u­lata team record with three as­sists on the day and added one goal, while se­nior Carly Mi­rar­chi had one goal and two as­sists for four points. Fresh­man Amanda Sroka net­ted the first goal of her ca­reer and se­nior Tina Rosario scored the first goal of her IU ca­reer as well. Se­nior Erica Buck­ley, sopho­more Car­rie Quigley, and sopho­more Mor­gan McDonough each got on the score­board for IU.

WEST CHESTER 9, CALD­WELL 0>> West Chester Uni­ver­sity’s women’s ten­nis team opened its dual match sched­ule Tues­day with a 9-0 shutout over host Cald­well Col­lege. West Chester claimed the three doubles matches to take an early 3-0 lead. Maddy Shaak was a 6-3, 6-0 winner to clinch the match at sec­ond sin­gles. Rylee Power was a 6-0. 6-4 winner at third sin­gles while Abri­ana Nolan was a 6-1, 6-2 winner at fourth sin­gles. So­phie Rath­mell) was an 8-1 winner at fifth sin­gles and Steph Ci­farelli was an 8-0 winner at sixth sin­gles.

IM­MAC­U­LATA 9, ARCADIA 0 >> The Im­mac­u­lata women’s ten­nis team grabbed their third 9-0 victory in their last four matches, as they shutout vis­it­ing Penn State-Brandy­wine in a non-con­fer­ence match. Se­nior Lau­ren Deg­nan and ju­nior Kelly Gross at first doubles and se­nior An­naliese Kam­bourog­los and sopho­more Caitlin Sav­age at sec­ond doubles each won eas­ily by scores of 8-0 and 8-1, re­spec­tively.
