John Heinz National Wildlife Refuge at Tinicum: The Philly Fall Nature Fest features free games, crafts, guided discovery hikes, “Trackless Trolley” rides, fishing, archery, paddling the Darby Creek with L.L. Bean, live music, live animals, refreshments and more. Also, vote for vote for the “People’s Choice Award” for the 15th annual Nature Photo Contest. Bellevue State Park: The 13th annual Vendemmia Da Vinci Wine & Food Festival happens 2 to 6 p.m. Oct. 9 at the park in Wilmington, Del. Sample specialties from more than 20 restaurants, wines from every region of Italy and premium Italian beer. Entertainment includes contemporary and classic opera.
