• Nicholas Lusby, 32, of Coatesville, was charged with forgery, theft by de­cep­tion and re­ceiv­ing stolen prop­erty. The charges were filed af­ter Lusby al­legedly passed coun­ter­feit money to make a $140 pur­chase at the Wal-Mart store on Sept. 11.

• Gre­gory Van­zan­ten Jr., 26, of Down­ing­town, was charged with forgery, re­ceiv­ing stolen prop­erty and theft by de­cep­tion. The charges were filed af­ter a town­ship res­i­dent re­ported the theft of three per­sonal checks on Sept. 14. Van­zan­ten was the per­son iden­ti­fied as pass­ing the three checks val­ued at $2,750.

• Anya Hester, 24, of Lan­caster, was charged with re­tail theft, re­ceiv­ing stolen prop­erty and crim­i­nal con­spir­acy. The charges were filed af­ter an in­ves­ti­ga­tion de­ter­mined that Hester and an uniden­ti­fied wo­man were re­spon­si­ble for a $50 theft from the Old Navy store on Sept. 19.

• Jes­sica Smith, 18, of West Ch­ester, was charged with re­tail theft and re­ceiv­ing stolen prop­erty. The charges were filed af­ter an of­fi­cer re­sponded to the Boscov’s store for an al­leged $440 theft of mer­chan­dise on Sept. 21.

• Maria Leon, 40, of West Ch­ester, was charged with pos­ses­sion of mar­i­juana and driv­ing with a sus­pended li­cense. The charges were filed af­ter a pa­trol of­fi­cer re­port­edly ob­served Leon’s ve­hi­cle travel through a red traf­fic sig­nal at the Route 30 By­pass and Route 100 on Sept. 23. The of­fi­cer ini­ti­ated a traf­fic stop which led to the ar­rest.

• Jor­dan Bishop, 28, of Philadel­phia, was charged with DUI and pos­ses­sion of mar­i­juana. The charges were filed af­ter a pa­trol of­fi­cer re­port­edly ob­served Bishop’s ve­hi­cle speed­ing on the Route 30 By­pass on Sept. 25. The of­fi­cer ini­ti­ated a traf­fic stop which led to the ar­rest.
