Frank R. Chiappetta, formerly of Hershey’s Mill, West Chester

Frank R. Chiappetta, age 84 of Wayne, PA, died on October 1, 2016.

Frank was born on March 28, 1932 in Clairton, PA to the late Genaro P. Chiappetta and Emily Maureen Branca Chiappetta.

He was a graduate of Clairton High School and Penn State University.

Frank was a Retired Captain from the US Air Force and worked for many years as an Aero Space Engineer for General Electric Space Division.

He was a member of Saint Monica Church and Saints Peter and Paul Church choir for over 50 years, Nocturnal Adoration Society, a Barber Shop Quartet, and enjoyed acting and musicals. Frank volunteered at the Helicopter Museum and youth sports.

Survivors: Husband of Mary Ann Lewis Chiappetta; father of Leaha S. Chiappetta, Lisa D. Chiappetta, Jeffrey F. Chiappetta, Gary R. Chiappetta, and Mark C. Chiappetta; brother of Jerry, Betty Parker, Dolly Peters, Donald, Darlene, Lawrence, Leonard, and the late Robert; grandfather of 6 and great grandfather of 3.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend Frank’s Mass of Christian Burial on Saturday, October 8, 2016 at 11am at Saints Peter and Paul Church, 1325 Boot Road, West Chester, PA, where friends may visit from 10-11am. Interment Philadelphia Memorial Park, Frazer, PA.
