Craft time: The Henrietta Hankin Branch Library hosts the Brandywine Rug Hooking Guild as they share the craft of Traditional Rug Hooking from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. on Saturday, Oct. 8. Watch a demonstration and give it a try. If you need instruction, please arrive between 10 a.m. and noon, so you’ll have plenty of time to learn. If you have a pair of small, sharp scissors you might bring those. Registration is encouraged to help the guild better prepare for the class. This program supports Civic and Social Literacy. To register, please go to www.chesoli or call 610-321-1710.
