Bernard “Jimmy” Wemett Jr., 74, passed away on October 2, 2016.

He is sur­vived by his wife, Linda Rosci­olo Wemett.

Born on Jan­uary 5, 1942 in West Chester, PA, he was the son of the late Bernard J. Wemett Sr. and Anna Menna Wemett.

Jimmy served in the U.S. Army, and worked at Pep­peridge Farm as a main­te­nance worker for 44 years be­fore re­tir­ing. He en­joyed get to­geth­ers with fam­ily, hunt­ing, archery, deep sea fish­ing, gar­den­ing, mow­ing, spend­ing time in Ocean City, MD, and go­ing to the moun­tains with friends to play cards.

In ad­di­tion to his wife, Jimmy is sur­vived by sons Bruce Wemett, Michael, Jef­frey & Richard Hardy, 13 grand­chil­dren, 2 great-grand­chil­dren, brother Randy Wemett, and sis­ters Phyl­lis Mossie, Patsy Carey, Wanda Ja­cobs, Alice Mack and Dale Wemett. He was pre­de­ceased by a son, Brian Wemett, and sis­ters Audrey Dmytryk and Betty Herr.

A prayer ser­vice will be held on Satur­day, October 15, 2016 at 12:00 noon, with a time of visi­ta­tion from 11:00 am till the ser­vice, at the Ma­clean-Cham­ber­lain Fu­neral Home, 339 W. Kings Hwy. Coatesville, PA. In­ter­ment will be pri­vate.
