The sec­ond-seeded Pioneers swept past North Penn Mon­day, 5-0, to reach the quar­ter­fi­nals of the Dis­trict 1 Class 3A team ten­nis tour­na­ment.

Cas­sidy Lan­dau and Mad­die Wood both won their sin­gles matches for Con­estoga (17-1). The Pioneers will host Rad­nor in the next round. Sin­gles - 1. East (13-5, 8-2) got good per­for­mances from Grace Allen (19 kills, 10 digs, one block), Jor­dan House­worth (12 kills, three blocks), Mary Wil­liams (42 as­sists, one ace) and Kirsten McQueen (four digs, three aces).

AVON GROVE 3, GREAT VALLEY1>> Avon Grove won by post­ing scores of 25-19, 1825, 25-22 and 25-15. Avon Grove lead­ers in­cluded Emily McCann (22 as­sists), Chloee Kleespies (14 kills, 16 digs), Ayanna Turner (six kills, 11 digs) and Ju­lia Crabtree (14 digs, 14 kills). Great Val­ley got strong per­for­mances from Danielle DiS­ci­ullo, Abby Daniels, Macken­zie Far­relly and Alana Cun­ning­ham.

DOWININGTOWN WEST 3, OX­FORD 0 >> Down­ing­town West im­proved to 10-2 (8-2 Ches-Mont) with a straight set vic­tory over Ox­ford, 259, 25-15 and 25-18. West was led by So­phie Gelling with 13 kills and six blocks. Aly Rear­don had eight kills, three aces and nine digs. Ken­zie Pin­cura added seven kills, two aces, and 14 digs. Alex Kenny chipped in with 14 digs. Ox­ford’s lead­ers in­cluded Nikki Jones (17 digs), Sarah Robin­son (four kills), Mad­die Hamil­ton (nine as­sists), Ni­cole Scott (three aces) and Lo­gan Wolfe (four blocks).
