Watson Run homes open for touring on Oct. 22
Watson Run, a unique Berks Homes 55+ community conveniently located in Gordonville, Lancaster County has planned a community-wide event in October. This quaint active-adult community of singlefamily homes is located in the heart of Amish Country, and offers seven unique floorplans, each with a first-floor master suite, two full bathrooms and an attached two-car garage. Most floorplans are available either on a slab foundation or with basement, and all offer a choice of elevation.
Low-maintenance living is emphasized by convenient main-level laundry rooms and a homeowners association that maintains the community’s pristine appearance, making snow removal and lawn care a thing of the past for residents.
Prices at Watson Run start in the mid $200,000s. The community also features a large, inviting clubhouse — complete with a banquet area, fitness center, and outdoor pool. Tucked into the beautiful farmlands and picturesque landscapes of the nearby village of Intercourse, Watson Run also offers easy access to major roadways, including routes 30, 340 and the PA Turnpike. A Berks Homes representative is on hand in the beautiful Abbey model home four days a week to answer questions and show visitors through all the possibilities of this popular community.
Berks Homes and the neighbors of Watson Run will open a variety of homes to prospective homebuyers during their Floorplan Fever Open House on October 22. An unprecedented seven floorplans will all be open in the same afternoon. From noon to 4 p.m., visitors can tour: Abbey B (Model Home), Chestnut Grove A, Ivy B, Stone Hill B, two Sweetwater C models, Charlotte B, and a Stone Hill C (Under Construction). Downsizers or those seeking a 55+ community with superb amenities, great surroundings and friendly neighbors are welcome to begin their Open House tour by picking up a tour map at the Community Clubhouse located at the corner of Springhouse and Sweetbirch Lanes. They can then proceed at their own pace from property to property to experience each floorplan first-hand, eliminating the usual need to visualize floorplans based on a two-dimensional drawing or photo. An added bonus of this open house tour is the opportunity to actually meet a number of homeowners and discover even more about Watson Run. Those visiting every floorplan on the tour will be eligible to win a $100 gift card. After the tour, all are welcome to relax back at the Community Clubhouse with some delicious food and refreshments, and stock up on giveaway items. The Berks Homes Wheel of Fortune will also be spinning at the clubhouse for potential buyers to receive one of a number of valuable upgrades.
