Miriam G. Ritchie of At­glen

Miriam G. Ritchie, 90, of At­glen, passed away sud­denly on Fri­day, Oc­to­ber 14, 2016, at the Paoli Me­mo­rial Hos­pi­tal. She was the widow of the late Don­ald An­drew Ritchie who died in 2000. Born in Philadel­phia, she was the daugh­ter of the late Arthur and Ade­laide (El­liott) Am­mon.

She was a re­tired med­i­cal sec­re­tary and a mem­ber of the High­land Bap­tist Church.

She is sur­vived by four daugh­ters, M. Jan­ice Harmer and hus­band Dave of At­glen, Kathy Steininger and hus­band Keith of Brookhaven, Linda Brosey and hus­band Ken of Bain­bridge,PA and Nancy R. Stigliano of Stras­burg, PA, 10 grand­chil­dren, 13 great grand­chil­dren, sib­lings Richard Am­mon of Palm City, FL, Ade­laide McDaniel of Grand Rapids, MI, Es­ther Mur­ray of Del­tona, FL and nieces and neph­ews. She was pre­ceded in death by three broth­ers, David, Ray­mond and Arthur Am­mon.

Fu­neral ser­vices will be held on Wed­nes­day, Oc­to­ber 19, at 10am at the High­land Bap­tist Church, 1 East High­land Rd., Parkes­burg, PA. fol­lowed by in­ter­ment at Edge­wood Me­mo­rial Park, Glen Mills, PA. View­ing Tues­day evening from 6 to 8pm at the church and again on Wed­nes­day from 9am un­til time of ser­vice.
