Marian Carrigan Sollars, formerly of Coatesville

Marian Carrigan Sollars, 95, passed away peacefully on Thursday, October 6, 2016 after a brief illness.

Marian graduated from Oxford High School and last worked at Lukens Steel Company in Coatesville as a deseamer.

Marian was loving and warm hearted, a friend to all, with a passion to give but wanting nothing in return. She will be greatly missed.

She is survived by a son, Ernest Sollars, husband of Danielle; a daughter, Kathleen Sollars Taylor; grandchildren, Ernest and Michelle; a sister, Louise Evans, wife of John; and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband, Ernest and son, James.

Graveside services will be held at 4 p.m., Thursday, October 27, 2016 at Fairview Cemetery, 786 Oak St. Coatesville.
