Po­lice ar­rest 2 in park overnight

COATESVILLE >> Coatesville po­lice re­cently ar­rested two peo­ple in West End Park when the officers pa­trolled the area overnight, ac­cord­ing to po­lice re­ports.

Coatesville po­lice said they con­ducted a ve­hi­cle in­ves­ti­ga­tion in the area of West End Park on Oct. 7 at 1:40 a.m. Upon fur­ther in­ves­ti­ga­tion, po­lice said they made con­tact with the driver, Kahill K. Thomp­son. Po­lice said Thomp­son, 31, of Philadel­phia, was al­legedly found in pos­ses­sion of mar­i­juana. He was taken into cus­tody and trans­ported to the sta­tion to be pro­cessed, ac­cord­ing to the po­lice re­port.

Coatesville po­lice said they also came into con­tact with Rus­lan Bosi who had an ac­tive war­rant out of Coatesville. Po­lice said Bosi, 23, of Down­ing­town, was taken into cus­tody and an of­fi­cer re­port­edly lo­cated drug para­pher­na­lia in­side of Bosi’s book bag.

Theft

Coatesville po­lice re­sponded for a theft re­port that oc­curred in the 300 block of Wal­nut Street at about 1 p.m. Oct. 5. The 49-year-old vic­tim told po­lice that an un­known per­son stole elec­tron­ics from her home, val­ued at $480.

War­rant

• Coatesville po­lice said they con­ducted a traf­fic stop at 7:25 p.m. in the area of North Third Av­enue and Lum­ber Street on Oct. 25. The of­fi­cer said he made con­tact with Jaymes Smith, who is known to have an ac­tive bench war­rant for his ar­rest. Po­lice said Smith, 30, of Coatesville, was taken into cus­tody with­out in­ci­dent and trans­ported to the sta­tion where he was held for the con­sta­bles.
