Police arrest 2 in park overnight
COATESVILLE >> Coatesville police recently arrested two people in West End Park when the officers patrolled the area overnight, according to police reports.
Coatesville police said they conducted a vehicle investigation in the area of West End Park on Oct. 7 at 1:40 a.m. Upon further investigation, police said they made contact with the driver, Kahill K. Thompson. Police said Thompson, 31, of Philadelphia, was allegedly found in possession of marijuana. He was taken into custody and transported to the station to be processed, according to the police report.
Coatesville police said they also came into contact with Ruslan Bosi who had an active warrant out of Coatesville. Police said Bosi, 23, of Downingtown, was taken into custody and an officer reportedly located drug paraphernalia inside of Bosi’s book bag.

Coatesville police responded for a theft report that occurred in the 300 block of Walnut Street at about 1 p.m. Oct. 5. The 49-year-old victim told police that an unknown person stole electronics from her home, valued at $480.
• Coatesville police said they conducted a traffic stop at 7:25 p.m. in the area of North Third Avenue and Lumber Street on Oct. 25. The officer said he made contact with Jaymes Smith, who is known to have an active bench warrant for his arrest. Police said Smith, 30, of Coatesville, was taken into custody without incident and transported to the station where he was held for the constables.
