2 killed af­ter truck flips, be­comes par­tially sub­merged

State po­lice say they found a Penn­syl­va­nia driver and his New Jer­sey pas­sen­ger dead af­ter a pickup truck they were in left the road, flipped onto its roof and be­came par­tially sub­merged in a marsh.

Po­lice say they found the truck on late Satur­day af­ter­noon in Ross Town­ship, Penn­syl­va­nia about 65 miles north of Philadel­phia.

It wasn’t im­me­di­ately clear when the crash hap­pened.

Po­lice say the driver, 47-yearold Howard Brown, of Saylorsburg, Penn­syl­va­nia was thrown from the pickup. He was found dead un­der­wa­ter be­hind the ve­hi­cle. Po­lice say Brown wasn’t wear­ing a seat belt.

Po­lice say Brown’s 39-year-old pas­sen­ger, Tara Hallingse, of Le­banon, New Jer­sey, was found in the pas­sen­ger seat. She was de­clared dead at the scene.

Au­top­sies are planned for both vic­tims.

The crash re­mains un­der in­ves­ti­ga­tion. south Philadel­phia.

Po­lice say the 55 year-old man and 58 year-old woman were found dead by a neigh­bor. Medics of­fi­cially pro­nounced them dead Satur­day af­ter­noon.
