Ro­tary Club awards grants to lo­cal or­ga­ni­za­tions

The Ro­tary Club of West Ch­ester awarded $33,400 in grants to 16 Ch­ester County phil­an­thropic or­ga­ni­za­tions. Rep­re­sen­ta­tives from lo­cal char­i­ties were rec­og­nized and pre­sented their checks at a re­cent lun­cheon meet­ing. Funds for grants are gen­er­ated by the an­nual Chili Cook-off, now in its 14th year. The 16 re­cip­i­ents were se­lected from 31 ap­pli­ca­tions screened by the Com­mu­nity Phil­an­thropic Com­mit­tee co-chaired by Matt Hol­l­i­day and Shauna Yedell.
