Rotary Club awards grants to local organizations
The Rotary Club of West Chester awarded $33,400 in grants to 16 Chester County philanthropic organizations. Representatives from local charities were recognized and presented their checks at a recent luncheon meeting. Funds for grants are generated by the annual Chili Cook-off, now in its 14th year. The 16 recipients were selected from 31 applications screened by the Community Philanthropic Committee co-chaired by Matt Holliday and Shauna Yedell.
