Michael Francis Fey of Glen Mills
Michael Francis (Mike) Fey, 68, of Glen Mills passed away on October 31, 2016.
Mike grew up in Ridley Park, and graduated from St. James High School and Miami Dade Community College.
He had a successful career in the financial industry working at PNC Bank and AMER-SING, LLC.
Yet Mike’s greatest joy in life was making others happy. He was a reminder that life can be fun, life can be full of laughs, and life should be about enjoying time with family and friends.
He relished playing sports, especially basketball and golf. An avid golfer throughout his life, Mike enjoyed introducing the rest of the family and friends to the sport. A mainstay of Penn Oaks Golf Club in West Chester, Mike served as its Treasurer for many years.
An active volunteer, Mike with his wife Kathy enjoyed organizing the annual Christmas Bazaar for many years at St. Agatha-St. James Church in Philadelphia. He delivered food to the needy in Chester. He loved gardening and sharing the crops from his gardens with others.
Special happy memories are of Halloween night and New Year’s Eve with his nieces and nephews, birthday celebrations, Sunday brunches, Flower Show outings, trying out new restaurants, and Super Bowl parties.
Mike’s presence will be sorely missed. Family: loving wife Kathleen M. (nee Sestak). Caring brother of Joseph and the late John (Roswitha). Sonin-law of Kathleen Sestak. Brother-in-law to Barbara Sestak (Robert Rosenberg), Joe (Susan) Sestak, Ann (Dan) Bielli, Elizabeth Sestak, Margaret (Richard) Infantino, Patricia Sestak and the late Richard Sestak.
