Karen L. Baker of Ex­ton

Karen L. Baker, 42, passed away on Thurs­day, November 3rd, 2016, at her res­i­dence with her fam­ily by her side.

She was the lov­ing wife of James M. Baker, with whom she shared 21 years of mar­riage.

Born in Norristown, she was the daugh­ter of Ann Hart­nett Evans of Roy­ers­ford and the late Wilmer T. Buler.

Karen was a grad­u­ate of Perkiomen Val­ley High School and went on to ob­tain her B.S. De­gree from Millersville Univer­sity and then her Mas­ter’s De­gree in ed­u­ca­tion from Cabrini Col­lege in 2002. She worked as a se­nior re­source man­ager for IMS Health for 16 years.

She was a mem­ber of S.s. Phillips & James Church, as well as Whit­ford Coun­try Club. Karen was an avid sup­porter of Team CMMD. She en­joyed read­ing, pho­tog­ra­phy, travel and mu­sic. More than any­thing, Karen’s pride and joy in life was be­ing a lov­ing and de­voted mom to her daugh­ters, Emily C. and Me­gan E. Baker.

In ad­di­tion to her hus­band, mother and daugh­ters, Karen is sur­vived by her sis­ters, Ann M. (Corey) Frank of Barto and Stephanie J. (David) Seidler of Red Hill. Also sur­vived by 7 nieces and neph­ews.

An evening vis­i­ta­tion will be held Mon­day, November 7th from, 5-8 pm at St. Joseph Church, 338 Manor Ave., Down­ing­town, PA 19335.

A Mass of Chris­tian Burial will be held Tues­day, November 8th at 11 am at St. Joseph Church, where friends and fam­ily may call from 9-10:30 am.

In­ter­ment will be at St. Agnes Ceme­tery, West Chester.
