Career Wardrobe’s annual Empowering Tea and Fashion Show
RADNOR >> To celebrate Career Wardrobe’s expansion into Southeastern Pennsylvania, the event was held at the Radnor Hotel this year on Oct. 29. KYW Newsradio ancher Cherri Gregg was the emcee for the event, which showcases the work of Career Wardrobe in assisting women to transition to work. The keynote speaker was Pa. state Rep. Leanne Krueger-Braneky. The fashion show featured styles from the Wardrobe Boutique benefitting Career Wardrobe, designers-in-residence from the Philadelphia Fashion Incubator at Macy’s Center City, Louella Boutique and Lotasi Jewels.
Career Wardrobe is one of the nation’s largest independent organizations empowering women and men to transition to work with professional clothing, job search support and professional development. In 2016, Career Wardrobe expanded from Philadelphia to the five-county area, including Delaware, Chester, Bucks, Montgomery and Berks counties, providing professional clothing to unem- ployed Pennsylvanians receiving public assistance.
