Mar­garet Jean Thomas of Thorn­dale

Mar­garet Jean Thomas, 99, died Mon­day, Novem­ber 7, 2016 at Hick­ory House Nurs­ing Home, Honey Brook.

Born in Coatesville she was the daugh­ter of the late Ho­race and Anna Mae Bar­ben Dunnett and the wife of the late Ken­neth Richard Et­tien and the late Arthur Thomas.

She was a mem­ber of Olivet United Methodist Church, Coatesville.

She worked at Food Fair/ Pantry Pride for many years and loved work­ing in her gar­den and around her house, but most of all, loved be­ing with her family.

Mar­garet is sur­vived by her five chil­dren: Vir­ginia An­der­son and her hus­band Fred of Coatesville; Char­lotte Les­lie and her hus­band James of Thorn­dale; Bar­bara Les­lie of Thorn­dale; Ge­orge Et­tien and his wife Sandy of Coatesville and Ruth Young and her hus­band Herb of Coatesville; 15 grand­chil­dren; and 23 great-grand­chil­dren; 2 step-grand­chil­dren and 11 step-great grand­chil­dren. Mar­garet was pre­de­ceased by a grand­son.

She was the last of her gen­er­a­tion, pre­de­ceased by 2 sis­ters and 2 broth­ers.

Mar­garet’s fu­neral ser­vices will be held Fri­day, Novem­ber, 11, 2016 at 12pm at Wentz Fu­neral Home, 342 East Ch­est­nut Street, Coatesville, 610-384-0318 where family and friends may call be­gin­ning at 10am.

In­ter­ment will be Fairview Ceme­tery, Coatesville.
