West­town waltzes into girls soc­cer fi­nal

West­town reached the Penn­syl­va­nia In­de­pen­dent Schools Ath­letic As­so­ci­a­tion girls soc­cer cham­pi­onship for the first time in school his­tory by rout­ing the Bald­win School, 5-0.

The Moose (14-6) will play Spring­side Ch­est­nut Hill Acad­emy on Wed­nes­day at Im­mac­u­lata Univer­sity at 5:30 p.m.

Relly Lad­ner had two goals and an as­sist, while Sara Oswald and Marite Hor­ton con­trib­uted a goal and an as­sist each. Emily Coe also scored.

Natalie Neu­mann made 12 saves and was helped by the de­fen­sive four­some of Val Thomson, Mad­die Boc­tor, Natalia San­tan­gelo and Brid­get Fitz­patrick to post the shutout.
