Jean Nay­lor Flynn, 87, died Mon­day, Novem­ber 7, 2016 in Ocala, Florida.

She was the wife of John J. “Jack” Flynn, Jr., who pre­ceded her in death in 1998.

Born in Coatesville, she was the daugh­ter of the late Ge­orge D. and Mary I. White­side Nay­lor.

She worked for sev­en­teen years in the cafe­te­ria of the Coatesville Area School District, re­tir­ing in 1989.

Jean was a mem­ber of the former St. Ce­cilia Church.

Sur­viv­ing her are her chil­dren; John J. III, Thomas G., Pa­trick J., Michael F., and Jeanne Marie Turner all of Florida; Wil­liam D. of Mary­land; Ti­mothy G. of Blan­don, PA and James T. and Paul M. of Coatesville; 19 grand­chil­dren and 15 great grand­chil­dren.

A Mass of Chris­tian Burial will be cel­e­brated at 11 a.m., Satur­day, Novem­ber 19, 2016 at St. Peter’s Church, 2835 Manor Road, West Brandy­wine. Rel­a­tives and friends may call from 9:30 to 10:45 a.m. on Satur­day at the church.

In­ter­ment will be in St. Ce­cilia Ceme­tery, Coatesville.
