STAGE SET FOR THE FAB 5
“A Night out with the Arts” is where you will find the Fab 5, three girls and two guys, showcasing their talent at the Historic Beale Manor in Parkesburg on Nov. 19. The evening festivities will feature works of art, music, tasting and interactions with live birds from the Pocono Wildlife. The evening kicks off with three girls consisting of Catherine Colsher, who will be featuring her hand-colored copperplate etchings and oils; Beth Palser, who will be presenting her landscapes and seascapes in a unique style of painting called Graphic Realism; and wildlife artist Susan Bankey Yoder, who is known for the extreme detailed brushwork in the animals she paints. The two guys will be sculptor and blacksmith artisan Charles Wilmont, and Steve Oliver, who captures the animal’s character and personality while surrounding them in a picturesque background. Each artist is accomplished in their respective fields and between them they have received over 200 local and national awards. These artisans show their work all over the country and will be stopping in for one night only on Saturday at Beale Manor, located at 200 S. Church St. in Parkesburg. All original paintings, sculptures and prints will be available for purchase.
