“A Night out with the Arts” is where you will find the Fab 5, three girls and two guys, show­cas­ing their tal­ent at the His­toric Beale Manor in Parkesburg on Nov. 19. The evening fes­tiv­i­ties will fea­ture works of art, mu­sic, tast­ing and in­ter­ac­tions with live birds from the Po­cono Wildlife. The evening kicks off with three girls con­sist­ing of Cather­ine Col­sher, who will be fea­tur­ing her hand-col­ored cop­per­plate etch­ings and oils; Beth Palser, who will be pre­sent­ing her land­scapes and seascapes in a unique style of paint­ing called Graphic Re­al­ism; and wildlife artist Su­san Bankey Yoder, who is known for the ex­treme de­tailed brush­work in the an­i­mals she paints. The two guys will be sculp­tor and black­smith ar­ti­san Charles Wil­mont, and Steve Oliver, who cap­tures the an­i­mal’s char­ac­ter and per­son­al­ity while sur­round­ing them in a pic­turesque back­ground. Each artist is ac­com­plished in their re­spec­tive fields and be­tween them they have re­ceived over 200 lo­cal and na­tional awards. These ar­ti­sans show their work all over the coun­try and will be stop­ping in for one night only on Satur­day at Beale Manor, lo­cated at 200 S. Church St. in Parkesburg. All orig­i­nal paint­ings, sculp­tures and prints will be avail­able for pur­chase.
