John G. Klepic III of West Ch­ester

John G. Klepic III, 64, died sud­denly Tues­day, Novem­ber 15, 2016.

He was the hus­band of Ly­dia Heid Klepic and fa­ther of Sarah Klepic Gar­ri­son.

Born De­cem­ber 24, 1951 in Rochester, PA, he was the son of the late John G. Klepic, Jr. and the late Catherine Clay­ton Klepic.

John was a 1969 grad­u­ate of New Brighton High School. He went on to re­ceive his BS De­gree in Chem­i­cal En­gi­neer­ing from Yale Univer­sity in 1973, and his Mas­ter’s De­gree in Poly­mer Sci­ence from Carnegie Mel­lon Univer­sity.

John was cur­rently em­ployed with Dart Con­tainer Corp in Le­ola, PA. He pre­vi­ously worked with Arco Chem­i­cal Com­pany in New­town Square, PA. He holds sev­eral patents in poly­mer chem­istry.

He was a mem­ber of SS Peter & Paul Church in West Ch­ester.

John was an avid reader of ev­ery­thing, but es­pe­cially sci­ence fic­tion and his­tory. He en­joyed trav­el­ing the world with his wife and had a love for pho­tog­ra­phy. He was a sports fan who en­joyed play­ing golf and watch­ing the Steel­ers. But he was first and fore­most a fam­ily man who found great joy in spend­ing time with his new grand­son. In ad­di­tion to his wife, he is sur­vived by his daugh­ter, Sarah wife of Jesse Gar­ri­son; grand­son, Ni­cholas Gar­ri­son; sib­lings, Thomas Klepic, Greens­burg, PA, Bar­bara Rieder, Collinsville, IL and Mar­garet Wright, Colum­bus, OH and 9 nieces and neph­ews.

Rel­a­tives and Friends are in­vited to his visi­ta­tion on Tues­day, Novem­ber 22, 2016 from 10:00-11:15 am at SS. Peter & Paul Church, 1325 Boot Rd. West Ch­ester, PA 19380; fol­lowed by his Fu­neral Mass at 11:30 am.

In­ter­ment will be held in Oak­lands Ceme­tery, West Ch­ester.

In lieu of flow­ers, con­tri­bu­tions may be made to the Amer­i­can Can­cer So­ci­ety, 1626 Lo­cust St., At­ten­tion Memo­ri­als, Philadel­phia, PA 19103.
