Tredyffrin adds new officer to police force
Christopher Middleton was recently sworn in as a Tredyffrin police officer, like his father was before him.
TREDYFFRIN >> Like father, like son. Penn State University and Sun Valley High School alumnus Christopher Middleton was sworn in as a Tredyffrin police officer, like his father was before him.
At the regular Tredyffrin Board of Supervisors’ meeting Monday, Magisterial District Judge John Bailey swore in Middleton. He previously served as a police officer for the Norristown Police Department, and holds a bachelor’s degree in biology and psychology. His father, Michael Middleton, retired earlier in the year after 25 years of service.
“We continue to build on a tradition of professionalism, dedication and caring with our new hires,” said police Superintendent Anthony Giaimo. “I know that Officer Chris Middleton will continue the legacy of his father as an excellent addition to the police department.”
