An­thony Kulinich of Coatesville

An­thony Kulinich was born July 20,1921 in Coatesville, Pa. He was the son of An­ton and Mary Kulinich. He lived there where he mar­ried Pearl. They moved to New Hol­land, then moved to He­bron, Ohio with their daugh­ter Joyce. He passed away on Nov.22 at 95 years of age af­ter a sort stay at Chapel Grove Inn in Heath, Ohio.

“Tony” and his wife Pearl cel­e­brated their 73rd an­niver­sary on May 8 2016.

He had 3 sis­ters and 2 broth­ers, all pre­ced­ing him in death.

He worked at Lukens Steel for 40 years. In 1940 he was in the first class to grad­u­ate from the new Coatesville High School. He was the first life­time mem­ber of the At­glen Sports­man’s Club and was very ac­tive at the club. He was an avid hunter. He had a spe­cial in­ter­est in archery and won nu­mer­ous tro­phies in that en­deavor. He also en­joyed deep sea fish­ing for floun­der and play­ing base­ball. As a mem­ber of the Olive Street Pres­by­te­rian Church in Coatesville, Pa., he of­ten pro­vided trans­porta­tion for folks who could not drive. “Tony” was al­ways ready to help when­ever there was a need. He was a lov­ing and sup­port­ive fa­ther to his chil­dren Joyce and An­thony. He is sur­vived by his wife Pearl Kulinich , his two chil­dren: Joyce Teti, He­bron, Ohio, who was his care­giver and with whom he lived for sev­eral years, and a son An­thony Kulinich Jr. and his wife Paulette, Den­ver, Pa., along with sev­eral nieces Darla Ames and Tammy Paisley , and a cousin Sandy Nune­maker. All live in the Coatesville area.

Ser­vices will be held at Olive Street Pres­by­te­rian Church on Thurs­day, Dec. 1 2016 at 11 AM, with vis­i­ta­tion from 10 to 11, and burial ser­vice fol­low­ing at Fairview Ceme­tery. Con­tri­bu­tions in lieu of flow­ers can be made to Olive Street Pres­by­te­rian Church, 1400 Olive Street, Coatesville, Pa. 19320. The Roh­land Fu­neral Home Inc, Le­banon is han­dling the ar­range­ments.
