Authorities respond to multiple crashes
Authorities responded to multiple crashes throughout the county during the rainy weather Tuesday.
Towing crews survey a tractor-trailer that was stuck under the railroad bridge tunnel on Old Eagle School Road at the Strafford Station in Tredyffrin about 1 p.m. Tuesday. Tredyffrin police pointed out on a Twitter post that the underpass clearly is posted as 10 feet 6 inches and that many trucks have gotten stuck there in the past. No injuries were reported.
The East Whiteland Fire Company and Pennsylvania State Police were called to deal with a jackknifed tractor-trailer crash on Route 202 eastbound near Church Road in East Whiteland about 2:30 p.m. Tuesday. No injuries were reported. With heavy rains falling across the county, it was one of numerous crashes reported.
