Con­estoga wins in dou­ble OT

Caitlin Dono­van scored in the sec­ond over­time as the Con­estoga girls soc­cer team shaded Unionville, 1-0, in a non­league con­test Satur­day.

Dono­van latched onto a loose ball off a free kick and volleyed it into the net from about 18-yards out.

The Pi­o­neers (5-0-1) held a 14-6 shot ad­van­tage. Maeve Re­gan and Caro­line Klaiber com­bined for six saves.

Abby Hug col­lected six saves for the In­di­ans. Hewes and Sam Price recorded goals for the In­di­ans in the non­league shutout. Hewes and Bren­dan Humes notched as­sists. Greer and mid­fielder Hunter Fir­ment were stand­outs. to lift the Pa­tri­ots (51) to the non­league vic­tory. Molly Wol­ford and Stephanie Getz had a de­fen­sive save each. Goalies Eve­lyn Seasholtz and Ryan Curley recorded for saves each. Gill Ia­cobucci scored the equal­izer with 13 min­utes left in the sec­ond half.
