Obituary policy

The Daily Local News publishes obituaries of local interest as part of its news report each day. Paid obituaries may be submitted by private individuals ( subject to verification) as well as funeral homes. Payment may be made by Visa, MasterCard, Discover or American Express. ( Please do not include full credit card information in emails or faxes). Obituaries may be emailed to obits@ dailylocal. comor faxed to 610- 430- 1180 only. No obituaries will be taken over the phone. Deadlines for all obituariesMonday to Friday is 4: 30p. m.; you can call 610- 235- 2687for confirmation of receipt. Deadline for obits on Saturdays, Sundays and holidays is 3: 30p. m.; you can call 610- 235- 2665on Saturdays and 610- 235- 2698on Sundays for confirmation of receipt only ( you will not receive a proof or costwhen submitting obituaries on weekends or holidays; you will be contacted with cost on Monday mornings). No obituaries will be taken from private individuals on weekends and holidays. Cancellations of previously submitted obituaries will be accepted by 4: 30p. m. on weekdays only.
