Trump pur­sued Moscow tower project

While Don­ald Trump was run­ning for pres­i­dent in 2015 and 2016, his com­pany was pur­su­ing a plan to build a huge Trump Tower in Moscow, the Wash­ing­ton Post re­ported, cit­ing un­named sources. Dur­ing the dis­cus­sions, a Rus­sian-born real es­tate de­vel­oper, Felix Sater, urged Trump to come to Moscow to tout the pro­posal and sug­gested that he could get Pres­i­dent Vladimir Putin to say “great things” about Trump, ac­cord­ing to the re­port.

Ger­man nurse ac­cused of se­rial mur­ders

Niels Hoegel, a 40-year-old male nurse in Ger­many, is be­lieved to have killed at least 86 pa­tients with over­doses of heart med­i­ca­tion, in­ves­ti­ga­tors said Mon­day. Hoegel was con­victed in 2015 of two mur­ders and two at­tempted mur­ders at a hospi­tal in the north­west­ern town of Del­men­horst. He was sen­tenced to life in prison. But prose­cu­tors said last year they be­lieved he had killed at least 43 pa­tients and may have killed many more.
