ASTON » Two Sun Valley High School students were arrested for selling marijuanalaced gummy bears at school Wednesday, according to Aston Police Chief Dan Ruggieri.

“One student had sold four marijuana-laced gummy bears to another student and that student … turned around and sold three of those to three additional students,” said Ruggieri.

Police were contacted by Assistant Principal Dan Palmer and performed a field test on the only gummy bear recovered, which tested positive for the presence of marijuana, Ruggieri said.

Police only arrested the original seller and buyer, a 14-year-old and 15-year-old, said Ruggieri. They will both be charged with possession of marijuana, he said.
