Alanna Hagerty posted nine digs, seven kills and one block to lead Gar­net Val­ley to a 3-0 (25-18, 25-19, 2616) non­league vic­tory over Unionville in girls vol­ley­ball ac­tion Satur­day.

Ally Hart­ney con­trib­uted 10 kills, three blocks and two digs. Rachel Cain notched 27 as­sists, while Emma Rokosky chipped in with five kills, 10 digs, two aces and one block for the Jags.

Ava Pao­letti’s two goals and one as­sist showed the way for Marple New­town in a 5-0 non­league win over In­ter­boro.

Olivia Eber­sole pitched in with a goal and an as­sist for the Tigers. Feli­cia Bas­ciano ex­celled on de­fense in her first start of the season. Anna Le­mas­ter recorded the shutout in goal with nine saves.

GAR­NET VAL­LEY 4, KEN­NETT 2 » A bal­anced scor­ing ef­fort paced the Jaguars as four play­ers notched one goal apiece: Ciara Burke, Sophie Easter, Ken­dal DiCamillo and Simi Kolodka. Kerri Bradley as­sisted on two goals and Me­gan Fin­negan fin­ished with four saves in the cage. Girls Soc­cer

W.C. East scored in the 65th minute and held on for a 1-0 non­league vic­tory over Pen­ncrest. Bryn McLaugh­lin made four saves for the Lions (1-3-1).

Boys Soc­cer

Josh Wil­liams’ con­verted a penalty kick in the 75th minute, seal­ing Gar­net Val­ley’s 2-0 non­league de­ci­sion over Penn Wood. The Jags’ first tally was an own goal by the Pa­tri­ots.

Matt Ip­polito earned the shutout on four saves. Penn Wood’s Luseni Nyei made eight saves.

Noah At­saves made six saves in goal, in­clud­ing a stop deep in the sec­ond OT on a point-blank header to pre­serve the re­sult.

Luke Nall scored for Ken­nett, and Juan Guer­rero made eight saves, in­clud­ing a de­nial of a Per­rins penalty in the sec­ond half.
