2 in custody following weekend stabbing of ’Nova student
RADNOR >> Two people were in police custody Thursday evening in connection with the stabbing of a Villanova University student that occurred over the weekend. Police continued to search for a third suspect.
According to police, the suspects, whose identities had not yet been released, were being questioned and could be formally charged Thursday night.
The incident occurred early Saturday morning when a man told police he had left Kelly’s Taproom on Lancaster Avenue in Bryn Mawr with a female. He said three men approached them from behind and verbally confronted them as they walked on Prospect Avenue approaching County Line Road.
The woman ran and the confrontation turned physical. The victim sustained a stab wound to the chest.
