Joseph A. McCol­lian Jr., age

70, son of the late Joseph and Kathryn McCol­lian, passed away on Wednesday Oc­to­ber

10th at Brin­ton Manor in Glen

Mills, PA.

He is sur­vived by his lov­ing wife Ly­dia “Terri” McCol­lian, and chil­dren Amy m. Keith No­vak, Kelly m. Robert Stone, Joseph m. Danielle McCol­lian. He was loved by his grand­chil­dren Dakota McCol­lian, Made­line and Theodore No­vak, Alexan­dra and Tyler Stone, Joseph and Gianna McCol­lian. His brother, Wil­liam and his wife Su­san, neph­ews Daniel, Bren­nan all loved him dearly.

Born in Philadel­phia on Septem­ber 8th, 1948, he at­tended Colling­dale High School. Joe lived and raised his fam­ily in Aldan, PA and took great pride in all things Delaware County. Af­ter serv­ing in the Marine Corp Re­serves, Joe built a ca­reer at Bell At­lantic, later Ver­i­zon. He started as a splicer and af­ter 38 years re­tired as a man­ager. Through­out his life, Joe served as Aldan Bor­ough Coun­cil­man and Coun­cil Pres­i­dent, Aldan Swim Club Board mem­ber, and coached nu­mer­ous soft­ball, base­ball and bas­ket­ball teams for the Aldan Girls and Boys Club. He was a mem­ber of Ma­sonic Lodge

Friends and fam­ily are in­vited to a View­ing and Memo­rial Ser­vice start­ing at

9:30 am on Mon­day Oc­to­ber 15th at Wil­liams Lom­bardo Fu­neral Home in Clifton Heights, PA.
