Delco Strong 2 application deadline moved to July 14
The period for for-profit businesses applying for grants from the Delco Strong 2 program has been extended to 5 p.m. July 14.
For-profit businesses are eligible for up to $20,000 in grants and non-profit organizations can receive up to
$50,000. The deadline for non-profits is July 21.
Delco Strong 2 is the second phase of the business assistance program started by county officials in response to the closures and economic impact stemming from COVID-19 orders and mitigation. The first round, funded by CARES Act money and revenues from the county Redevelopment Authority, provided $7,500 grants to small, for-profit businesses. Through this round, those first recipients will receive a
$2,500 boost.

For-profit businesses can process an application online by visiting delcostrong. delcopa.org or take it to the Delaware County Commerce Center, 100 W. Sixth St., Suite 100 in Media before 5 p.m. July 14. Businesses with annual revenue of up to $4.5 million can receive up to $10,000. Those with up to $9 million in yearly revenues can receive up to $20,000.
Non-profits, who have an additional week to file their application, may seek assistance through the Foundation
of Delaware County at delcofoundation.org. Nonprofits must submit their applications online; mailed or hand-delivered applications will not be accepted for non-profit organizations.
