Man ac­cused in stab­bing of 2

A Parma Heights man is ac­cused of forc­ing his way into his ex-girl­friend’s home and stab­bing her and her mother, po­lice said.

Cleve­land.com re­ports the 18-year-old man was ar­rested late Sun­day out­side the house on Moore Drive near Dell Haven Drive, po­lice said in a news re­lease. De­tec­tives have not re­leased the man’s name be­cause he has not yet been charged with a crime.

The 17-year-old ex-girl­friend and her 56-year-old mother were hurt in the stab­bing, po­lice said. Parma Fire Depart­ment paramedics took them to MetroHealth, where they re­mained in se­ri­ous but sta­ble con­di­tion Mon­day morn­ing, po­lice said.

The 17-year-old girl called 911 just be­fore 9:30 p.m. to re­port that her ex-boyfriend forced his way into the home. The ex-boyfriend then beat and stabbed the girl and her mother, po­lice said.

Of­fi­cers ar­rived min­utes later and found the man stand­ing in the drive­way out­side the house. The man had a cut on his right hand, po­lice said.

Paramedics also took the man to MetroHealth for treat­ment. He was later re­leased and taken to the Parma jail, po­lice said.
