A spokeswoman for Fuzzy’s Taco Shop told this news outlet that the projected opening date for the chain’s first Dayton-area location has been pushed back to early April.

The spokeswoman said permitting and inspections are taking longer than expected.

When they first announced the least agreement last year, The Greene’s owners had estimated that the restaurant would open in the late fall of 2017. When it does start serving customers this spring, the new restaurant will employ about 35 and will occupy a 3,871-square-foot space in a new building that opened two years ago at The Greene’s front entrance.
