Kettering Program Advisory Committee

Dayton Daily News - - IN OUR CITIES: KETTERING -

The 2019 Kettering Program Advisory Committee (PAC) is a volunteer group of residents focused on providing feedback and evaluation for programs and services that are provided by the Kettering Parks, Recreation and Cultural Arts Department.

This committee not only helps Kettering improve their programming, but it’s also a fun way for members to learn new skills, meet people with similar interests and discover how much the Kettering community has to offer.

Each quarter, committee members will have a special area of concentration that the Kettering Parks, Recreation and Cultural Arts Department want to have reviewed and evaluated in more depth. Committee members are asked to attend specific registered or drop-in to programs, events or facilities and evaluate all aspects of their experience.

PAC members provide a comprehensive evaluation associated with their experiences through online surveys and quarterly meetings. Committee members can also discuss any aspect of their experience with a Kettering Park Board member and/or department staff. All evaluations are kept confidential. Each quarter, the comments and suggestions are reviewed and analyzed for potential solutions and improvements that can be implemented.

The term for PAC participation is one year, with the option to renew for an additional year. Committee members are provided with a $400 household credit, plus a complimentary individual fitness pass during their term on the committee.
