Learn to curl at Ice Arena
A brand-new program is sweeping the Kettering Ice Arena: curling. Kettering will present a series of Learn to Curl clinics throughout the fall and winter.
All equipment is provided; attendees just need to wear a clean pair of tennis shoes and comfortable clothing. No experience is needed.
A fan favorite in Canada, curling has soared in popularity in the U.S. since becoming an Olympic sport. The underdog U.S. Men’s Team, called a “scrappy group of guys from the Midwest,” started off in local rinks.
Both afternoon and evening classes are offered. Each class is 90 minutes long.
