Learn to curl at Ice Arena

A brand-new pro­gram is sweep­ing the Ket­ter­ing Ice Arena: curl­ing. Ket­ter­ing will present a se­ries of Learn to Curl clin­ics through­out the fall and win­ter.

All equip­ment is pro­vided; at­ten­dees just need to wear a clean pair of ten­nis shoes and com­fort­able cloth­ing. No ex­pe­ri­ence is needed.

A fan fa­vorite in Canada, curl­ing has soared in pop­u­lar­ity in the U.S. since be­com­ing an Olympic sport. The un­der­dog U.S. Men’s Team, called a “scrappy group of guys from the Mid­west,” started off in lo­cal rinks.

Both af­ter­noon and evening classes are of­fered. Each class is 90 min­utes long.
