Honey Chipo­tle Chicken Wings

YIELD: 4 SERV­INGS PREP TIME: 10 MIN­UTES TO­TAL TIME: 1 HOUR 10 MIN­UTES GLUTEN-FREE, EGG-FREE, SOY-FREE, NUT-FREE, RICE-FREE, CORN-FREE These chicken wings are just the right amount of sweet with a spicy kick! You won’t be able to re­sist hav­ing sec­onds. 1. Pre­heat oven to 450 de­grees F. Place a wire rack inside a large bak­ing sheet lined with alu­minum foil and set aside.

2. In a large bowl, whisk to­gether the salt and pep­per un­til com­bined thor­oughly. Add the chicken wings and toss un­til evenly coated.

3. Ar­range the chicken wings on the wire rack and bake for 15 min­utes. Us­ing a fork, care­fully ro­tate the wings with­out pierc­ing and bake for an ad­di­tional 15 min­utes.

4. In the bowl of a food pro­ces­sor, com­bine the honey, lime juice, chipo­tle pep­per and adobo sauce. Pulse un­til smooth.

5. Re­move bak­ing sheet from oven and brush wings with half of the honey chipo­tle sauce. Re­turn to oven and bake for 15 min­utes. Us­ing a fork, care­fully ro­tate the wings again with­out pierc­ing and brush with the re­main­ing sauce. Bake for 15 min­utes un­til wings are crisp and juices run clear. Gar­nish with fresh cilantro be­fore serv­ing.
