Find­ing the right use case for your com­pany with emerg­ing tech­nolo­gies is im­por­tant, says Ber­wanger. For ex­am­ple, the com­pany is in­ter­ested in try­ing out robo-ad­vi­sors as a sup­ple­ment to their ex­ist­ing bro­ker force.

“We’re look­ing at robo-ad­vice, but with the end user be­ing the ad­vi­sor,” she ex­plains. “We want to use the tech­nol­ogy to touch more ad­vi­sors and en­able them to serve their cus­tomers bet­ter.”
