Driver dies in wreck
CAMBRIDGE — State police say a Kentucky man is dead after a rollover at the intersection of Route 50 and Chateau Road in Cambridge on Saturday, April 2.
Police said they responded to the scene of the single-vehicle crash at 11:41 a.m. Saturday. Witnesses said Tommy Sedwick, 63, of Somerset, Ky., appeared to make a last-minute decision to turn onto Chateau Road but was going too fast, according to police. Sedwick’s Hyundai Elantra left the road, went airborne and overturned, police said.
Sedwick died at Shore Medical Center at Dorchester in Cambridge, police said.
State police from the Easton Barracks are investigating.
