CAM­BRIDGE — Shirley F. Kramer, 72, of Cam­bridge, MD, passed away on Mon­day, April 11, 2016, at UMSMC at Eas­ton. She was born in Cam­bridge on Feb. 7, 1944, and was the daugh­ter of the late T. Ellsworth and Mil­dred Sellers Mar­shall.

Mrs. Kramer was raised on a farm on Ross Neck Road of the Neck District. She at­tended Hud­son El­e­men­tary School and grad­u­ated from Cam­bridge High School class of 1962. Mrs. Kramer worked with Cam­bridge Wire Cloth from 1962 to 1969, then she moved to New Cas­tle, DE, when she mar­ried Robert E. Kramer on Aug. 30, 1969. He passed away on Nov. 11, 2013. She worked at Abex Corp from 1969 to 1972, when she and her hus­band moved back to the Neck District and re­turned to Cam­bridge Wire Cloth ( Cam­bridge In­ter­na­tional) from 1972 un­til she re­tired in 2010. Mrs. Kramer en­joyed lunches with her class­mates of 1962 and co- work­ers at Cam­bridge In­ter­na­tional. She also en­joyed flower gar­den­ing, read­ing, and her many pets.

She is sur­vived by her son Robert E. “Rob” Kramer Jr. and wife Heath- er of Hur­lock, two step grand­chil­dren, Collin and Emma Kemp and many cousins.

Pall­bear­ers will be Rob Kramer, Keith Todd, Bobby Sellers, Jeff Linthicum, Ver­non Sellers and Ver­non Hur­ley.

A fu­neral ser vice will be held on Satur­day, April 16, 11 a. m. at Thomas Fu­neral Home, P. A. in Cam­bridge, with Rev. A. Delmer Wil­ley Jr. of fi­ci­at­ing. In­ter­ment will fol­low at Dorch­ester Me­mo­rial Park. Fam­ily will re­ceive friends one hour prior to the ser vice.

In lieu of flow­ers, me­mo­rial con­tri­bu­tions can be made to Bay­wa­ter An­i­mal Res­cue, 4930 Buck­town Road, Cam­bridge, MD 21613.
