WECA Historic Tours Saturdays
West End Citizens Association hosts Saturday “One Hour Walking Tour of Historic High Street” in Cambridge. Tours will continue each Saturday (weather permitting) through Saturday, Oct. 29. Meet your Colonial costumed tour guide at 11 a.m. on Long Wharf at the foot of High Street every Saturday. Reservations are not necessary, but appreciated. High Street is the oldest street in the City of Cambridge first named in 1706.

Salvation Army Adult Bible Class Sundays
The Salvation Army, 200 Washington Street, would like to invite the public to participate in the Adult Bible Class held each Sunday morning at 9:45 a.m. Classes involve singing hymns, prayer and a Bible lesson, often with guest speakers and special music. Coffee and pastries are offered. Children’s classes are also available, and a worship service follows at 11 a.m.
Maryland Senior Citizens Hall of Fame Seeking Nominations
The Maryland Senior Citizens Hall of Fame is seeking nominations of Maryland residents, 65 years of age or older, who as active volunteers have made outstanding contributions to improve the lives of others in the community. Up to 50 qualified nominees will be selected for induction into the 2016 Maryland Senior Citizens Hall of Fame. The ushers of Waugh Chapel United Methodist Church will host a breakfast at 7 a.m. Saturday, April 16, at 425 High St., Cambridge. All you can eat breakfast, from 8 a.m. to noon, will be held Sunday, April 17, at Post 91 American Legion, Radiance Drive in Cambridge. Cost is $7 per person. Proceeds will benefit Veterans programs.
100 Years of Protecting Birds April 17
Blackwater National Wildlife Refuge will host a 100 years of protecting birds presentation at the visitor center at 1 p.m. Sunday, April 17. The event is free. Come hear about past and current efforts to conserve birds and how you can help preserve birds for the future. Presented by Eric Kershner, Wildlife Biologist with the Division of Migratory Bird Management.
