SALEM — Is­abell T. Phillips, 81, of Salem, MD, passed away on Mon­day, April 25, 2016 at Atria As­sisted Liv­ing in Sal­is­bury. She was born in Cam­bridge on Feb. 8, 1935 and was a daugh­ter of the late Charles B. Todd and Lizzie Jones Todd.

She grad­u­ated from Cam­bridge High School class of 1953. On March 25, 1955, she mar­ried Robert L. Phillips, who passed away on June 29, 1995. In her ear­lier years, she worked at Bell At­lantic, later worked at Su­per­Fresh. She en­joyed paint­ing, sewing, go­ing to the beach and a long­time mem­ber of Salem United Methodist Church.

She is sur­vived by two sons, Daniel Phillips and wife Jen­nifer of Sal­is­bury and Todd Phillips of Wash­ing­ton, DC, three grand­daugh­ters, Kather­ine Phillips, Ash­ley Jones and Lau­ren Phillips, all of Sal­is­bury, a sis­ter Pa­tri­cia Hur­ley and hus­band Chuck of East New Mar­ket, and nu­mer­ous nieces and neph­ews. Be­sides her par­ents and her hus­band, Is­abell is pre­ceded in death by a son Mark Phillips, two broth­ers Howard Insley Todd and Charles Wil­liam Todd, six sis­ters El­iz­a­beth Lyons, Frances Wright­son, Josephine Brins­field, Dorothy Matthews, Mary Ann Foxwell and Betty Jean Jones.

A fu­neral ser­vice will be held on Fri­day, April 29, 2 p.m. at Salem United Methodist Church with Rev. Mary Ann Far­nell of­fi­ci­at­ing. In­ter­ment will fol­low at the church­yard. Fam­ily will re­ceive friends on Thurs­day evening from 6 to 8 p.m. at Thomas Fu­neral Home, P.A. in Cam­bridge and also one hour prior to the ser­vice at the church.
