CAM­BRIDGE — Bet­tie Har­ri­son Bram­ble, 89, of Cam­bridge, MD, passed away on Mon­day, May 2, 2016, at her son’s home in Sal­is­bury. She was born in Trappe on Jan. 3, 1927, and was a daugh­ter of the late Charles W. Har­ri­son and Mary Kennedy Har­ri­son Cahoon.

Mrs. Bram­ble grad­u­ated from Eas­ton High School class of 1944. She worked for C&P Tele­phone Com­pany for over 33 years. Mrs. Bram­ble moved to Cam­bridge af­ter she mar­ried her hus­band, Emer­son T. Bram­ble Sr. on May 21, 1945. He passed away on Oct. 17, 2012. She was a mem­ber of Grace United Methodist Church for over 50 years, past pres­i­dent of Dr. Hines Bible School Class and the Tele­phone Pi­o­neers of Amer­ica.

She is sur­vived by a son, Emer­son T. Bram­ble Jr. of Sal­is­bury, a grand­son Emer­son T. Bram­ble III of Cam­bridge, and two great grand­sons Jack­son Wade Bram­ble and Theodore Louis Bram­ble, and sev­eral nieces and neph­ews. Be­sides her par­ents, Mrs. Bram­ble is pre­ceded in death by two brothers, Charles Philip Har­ri­son and Charles R. Har­ri­son.

A fu­neral ser­vice will be held at 11 a.m. Thurs­day, May 5, at Thomas Fu­neral Home, P.A. in Cam­bridge, with Rev. Christina Blake of­fi­ci­at­ing. In­ter­ment will fol­low at a later date. Fam­ily will re­ceive friends one hour prior to the ser­vice.
