CAM­BRIDGE — Frances N. Wil­son, 92, of Cam­bridge passed away on Wed­nes­day, May 25, 2016, at Ch­e­sa­peake Woods Cen­ter. She was born in Cam­bridge on May 2, 1924, and was a daugh­ter of the late Ge­orge B. Nabb Sr. and Hat­tie John­son Nabb.

On May 30, 1942, she mar­ried Robert B. “Boob” Wil­son, who passed away on Nov. 14, 2011. Mrs. Wil­son grad­u­ated from Cam­bridge High School. She was a sec­re­tary for Nut­tle Lum­ber Co., East­ern Shore State Hos­pi­tal Cen­ter and the Dorch­ester County Health Dept. Mrs. Wil­son en­joyed crossword puz­zles and rid­ing in the car around town. She was a mem­ber of the Chop­tank Memo­rial Post 7460 VFW, Amer­i­can Le­gion Post 91 and Grace United Methodist Church. The fam­ily would like to thank Coastal Hospice, Home In­stead and Ch­e­sa­peake Woods Cen­ter.

She is sur­vived by three grand­chil­dren, Kathryn Wil­ley and hus­band John of Hur­lock, Bobbi Atkin­son of Cam­bridge and James Mitchell Jr. of Cam­bridge; four great-grand­chil­dren, Michael Wil­ley and wife Amy, Bryan Wil­ley, Aaron Atkin­son, and Brit­tney Hutchins and hus­band Nick; two great­great­grand­chil­dren, Noah Wil­ley and Ri­ley Hutchins; and sev­eral nieces and neph­ews. Be­sides her par­ents and her hus­band, she is pre­ceded in death by a daugh­ter, Kather­ine Frances Wil­son Schuyler; a son, James Robert Wil­son; two brothers, John T. Nabb and Ge­orge B. Nabb Jr.; and two sis­ters, Sarah As­mussen and A. Ema­line Dayton.

Pall­bear­ers will be John Wil­ley, Michael Wil­ley, Bryan Wil­ley, Aaron Atkin­son, James Mitchell Jr. and Carl­ton Nabb.

A funeral ser­vice will be held on Satur­day, June 4, noon at Thomas Funeral Home P.A. in Cam­bridge with Rev. Christina Blake of­fi­ci­at­ing. In­ter­ment will fol­low at Dorch­ester Memo­rial Park. Fam­ily will re­ceive friends one hour prior to the ser­vice.
