TRAPPE — Re­becca “Becky” North Lowe-Trice, of Trappe, MD, formerly of Buck­town and Griffins Neck, passed peace­fully on June 4, 2016, with Hospice at home sur­rounded by her fam­ily. Born Nov. 12, 1937, Becky was pre­ceded in life by her lov­ing par­ents, Herbert Ri­ley North Sr. and Ose­ola Ab­bott North.

Becky re­ceived her re­al­tor’s li­cense in the early 80’s. She worked full time for West­ern Pub­lish­ing as a Nav­i­ga­tion In­for­ma­tion An­a­lyst and Qual­ity Con­trol for 45 years un­til her re­tire­ment in 2008. Af­ter, she started full-time sell­ing real es­tate at MacSor­ley Real Es­tate LLC in Cam­bridge and then with Exit Latham Re­al­ity in Eas­ton, where she worked un­til her health de­clined. She mar­ried Wal­ter Fran­cis Trice Jr. on Oct. 10, 1996, af­ter her first hus­band, Wil­liam Joseph Lowe, passed away on Feb. 9, 1993.

Becky was a mem­ber of Eas­ton Church of God, the Cam­bridge Moose Lodge #1211 and the Amer­i­can Le­gion Women’s Aux­il­iary Post 91. She was also a mem­ber of the Ch­e­sa­peake Clas­sic Car Club of Eas­ton. She en­joyed shop­ping hours with her grand­daugh­ters and her long­time friend, Brenda Duff, es­pe­cially at Kohl’s. She also en­joyed gar­den­ing with her son. She loved to eat out and en­joyed meet­ing peo­ple at McDon­ald’s al­most ev­ery day. She loved RV camp­ing with fam­ily and ven­tur­ing to car shows in sev­eral states.

She is sur­vived by her hus­band of 19 years, Wal­ter Fran­cis Trice Jr. of Trappe; only son, Billy Joe Lowe and fi­ancé, Les­lie Millspaugh of Buck­town; two step chil­dren from her first marriage, Linda Ann Lowe and Wil­liam Craig Lowe; three stepchil­dren from se­cond marriage, Jennifer L. Trice, Alex W. Trice, Adam W. Trice and wife Anna; two grand­daugh­ters, Brooke Nicole Lowe and Re­becca May Lowe; grand­dog, Bretta; step-grand­chil­dren, Amanda Green, Henry A. Trice and soon to be born Emma Trice; four step-grand­chil­dren from first marriage, Leaf A. Lowe, Eric Lowe, Jay Daven­port, An­thony Daven­port; two sib­lings, Herbert R. North Jr. and Thelma E. Cook; her long­time best friend, Brenda Duff; and many great-grand­chil­dren, nieces and neph­ews. Be­sides her par­ents and first hus­band, she is pre­de­ceased by her sis­ter, Miriam J. Wil­ley.

View­ing at 12 p.m. Thurs­day, June 9, with fu­neral ser­vice at 1 p.m. at Thomas Fu­neral Home, P.A. in Cam­bridge, with Pas­tor G. Keith Maxwell of­fi­ci­at­ing. Burial at Dorchester Me­mo­rial Park fol­low­ing ser­vices.

Pall­bear­ers will be Leaf Lowe, Eric Lowe, Bruce MacSor­ley, Alex Trice, Hobert Duff and Brian Kim­mey. Honorary pall­bearer is Alan Joli­coeur.

The fam­ily also would like to thank all the care­givers as­sist­ing with Becky dur­ing her short bat­tle with can­cer. A spe­cial thanks to her grand­daugh­ter, Brooke Nicole Lowe, who was there car­ing for Becky night and day from the time she came home till the day she went to be with the Lord.
