Eve­lyn “Lyn” R. Lewis

CAM­BRIDGE — Eve­lyn “Lyn” R. Lewis, 62, of Cam­bridge, MD, passed away on Wed­nes­day, June 15, 2016, at her home. She was born in Cam­bridge on Au­gust 5, 1953, and was a daugh­ter of the late Wil­liam Woodrow Bram­ble and Elizabeth Gra­ham Bram­ble.

In 1971 fol­low­ing grad­u­a­tion from Eas­ton High School she mar­ried Snap Lewis on Au­gust 5. She worked for the Daily Ban­ner, Star Demo­crat,

and Cam­bridge Creek Au­to­mo­tive. Lyn en­joyed family, her home and an­i­mals. She was in­ter­ested in lo­cal his­tory, read­ing, puz­zles and gar­den­ing.

Lyn is sur­vived by her hus­band Snap Lewis, two sis­ters Gayle Faulkner (Bob) and Phyl­lis John­son (Rick), three sis­ters in law Mar­garet Bram­ble, Sandy Rip­ple (John), and Ann Sard (Tommy), two brothers in law Randy Lewis (Gale Mitchell) and Clay Lewis, and sev­eral nieces and neph­ews. Be­side her par­ents and step­fa­ther Douglas Sullivan, Lyn is pre­ceded in death by two brothers, Den­nis and Gra­ham Bram­ble.

A cel­e­bra­tion of life was held on Sun­day, June 19, at St. Paul’s Epis­co­pal Church in Trappe, with Fa­ther Jack Ma­son of­fi­ci­at­ing.
