EAS­TON — Marvin G. Richard­son, 82, of Eas­ton, MD, passed away on Mon­day, June 27, 2016 at The Pines in Eas­ton. He was born in Cam­bridge on Jan. 18, 1934, to the late Philip and Beu­lah Tay­lor Richard­son.

He at­tended schools in Cam­bridge. Marvin worked as a water­man for all his life. He en­joyed fish­ing, gar­den­ing and work­ing on his boat. Mr. Richard­son taught him­self to play the gui­tar and the har­mon­ica.

Marvin is sur­vived by his com­pan­ion Nola Buck

of Eas­ton, three daugh­ters: Vicky Fuller of Seaford, DE, Carol-Jean Lake of Cam­bridge, Lisa Richard­son of Princess Anne, a son Marvin D. “Danny” Richard­son of Tod­dville, two grand­chil­dren Amy Swaf­ford of Con­way, SC, and Jamie Richard­son of Bish­ops Head, a great grand­daugh­ter, one great

great grand­daugh­ter, two sis­ters Kay Hard­ing of Reid’s Grove and Peggy Stan­field of St. Michaels, a sis­ter in law Brenda Richard­son, and many nieces and neph­ews. Be­sides his par­ents, he is pre­ceded in death by a brother Ken­neth Richard­son, and a sis­ter Frances Mur­phy.

A grave­side ser­vice will be held on Thurs­day, June 30, 11 a.m. at Dorch­ester Me­mo­rial Park with Pas­tor Dave Ste­wart of­fi­ci­at­ing.
