West End Cit­i­zens As­so­ci­a­tion hosts Satur­day “One Hour Walk­ing Tour of His­toric High Street” in Cam­bridge. Tours will con­tinue each Satur­day (weather per­mit­ting) through Satur­day, Oct. 29. Meet your Colo­nial cos­tumed tour guide at 11 a.m. on Long Wharf at the foot of High Street ev­ery Satur­day. Reser­va­tions are not nec­es­sary, but ap­pre­ci­ated. High Street is the old­est street in the City of Cam­bridge first named in 1706.

Sal­va­tion Army Adult Bi­ble Class Sun­days

The Sal­va­tion Army, 200 Washington Street, would like to in­vite the pub­lic to par­tic­i­pate in the Adult Bi­ble Class held each Sun­day morning at 9:45 a.m. Classes in­volve singing hymns, prayer and a Bi­ble les­son, of­ten with guest speak­ers and spe­cial mu­sic. Cof­fee and pas­tries are of­fered. Chil­dren’s classes are also avail­able, and a wor­ship ser­vice fol­lows at 11 a.m.

Wed­nes­day Morning Artists Can­dle­berry Gallery Ex­hibit July 1-31

The Wed­nes­day Morning Artists of Cam­bridge will present an ex­hibit at the Can­dle­berry Gallery, 210 South Tal­bot Street, St. Michaels dur­ing the month of July. The show opens in the up­stairs gallery on Fri­day, July 1, and con­tin­ues through Sun­day, July 31. The ex­hibit and sale fea­tures the work of both pho­tog­ra­phers and pain­ters. South Dorch­ester Folk Mu­seum Lo­cal His­tory Lec­ture Se­ries July 6

Wil­liam Ran­dall Brad­shaw, Sr. will speak at the Dorch­ester County His­tor­i­cal So­ci­ety, Rob­bins Her­itage Cen­ter, 1003 Green­way Drive, at 7 p.m. on Wed­nes­day, July 6 as part of a lo­cal his­tor y lec­ture se­ries pre­sented by the South Dorch­ester Folk Mu­seum. The topic of the lec­ture will be “The Two Brad­shaw Fam­i­lies of Dorch­ester.” Brad­shaw, Cam­bridge-born, re­tired Se­nior Mas­ter Sergeant of the U.S. Air Force, will talk about his re­search of the two branches of the Brad­shaw fam­i­lies, and also his ex­ten­sive re­search at sev­eral ceme­ter­ies. Mace’s Lane High School Alumni As­soc. 30th All-Classes Re­union July 8-11

The Mace’s Lane High School Alumni As­so­ci­a­tion will host the 30th All-Classes Re­union Fri­day, July 8 through Mon­day, July 11. Ac­tiv­i­ties will in­clude a social event Fri­day evening from 9 p.m. to 2 a.m. There will be a re­cep­tion from 1:30 to 3:30 p.m. on Satur­day af­ter­noon, and a cabaret event from 9 p.m. to 1 a.m. on Satur­day night. On Sun­day, classes are in­vited to wor­ship at 11 a.m. at Union Chapel AME Church and a pic­nic from 3 to 7 p.m. Mon­day will be the Har­riet Tub­man In­vi­ta­tional Golf Tour­na­ment at the Hy­att Re­gency Ch­e­sa­peake Bay Re­sort.
